Trigonometric Equations on a specific interval 2
In the class on Wednesday in the class we learned about Trigonometric equations on a specific interval 2. In this we applied Complex Trinomials formula to find out values of theta.
To find out values of reference angle we use same formula as grade 11, which is a^2+ac^2+c. To find out value of theta we could either make theta as x or we can solve it as it is .After we find value for reference then we can use value of reference to find out related angle in each Quadrant.
For example:
To find the reference angle wouldn't you just factor and solve for sinθ and then use the special triangles? Also the final answer should be θ = π/6, π/2, 5π/6 because they have to be listed from least to greatest.
