Sum and Difference Indentities Part One

Today in the class we learned how to solve for exact value os trig values, where the trig values are not one of the special triangles.
For that we just use formulas of BASIC ADD AND DIFFERENCE IDENTITIES. We don't have to remember those formulas, because these are on our formula sheet. We just have to remember that what are Sec, Csc and Cot.
To solve for these type of we find two values first that should be one of the special triangles. Put them them in one common bracket with the Add or Subtract sign. Mark first value as the alpha and second one as Beta.
Now look at the formula sheet and look for the trig that relates to this value : Sin, Cos, Tan, Cot, Sec or Csc.
After that put the values and solve that.

Example:

Today's Homework
#14-25 from the Trig Identities Worksheet
&
#1-6 from Sum and difference Trigonometry Identities Worksheet
