The Unit Circle

Today we learned about the "Unit Circle" A Unit Circle is the circle with its center at the origin and with a radius of one unit.
The Equation for the Unit Circle is
x2 + y2 = 1
The standard position starts at (1, 0)

We learned the notation P(
θ) which is used to denote the terminal point. (SOH CAH TOA)
It can be defined it as P(θ) = (x, y) = (Cosθ, Sinθ)

Equation: x2 + y2 = 1 or Cos2θ + Sin2θ = 1
y - axis (Sin) X - axis (Cos)

We also learned how to solve problems by simplifying and identifying the sign of the trig functions in each quadrant. (hint: CAST Rule)
