Can you just tell me how the Sigma notation works in the geometric series. How do we use the formula to evaluate.

Sigma means the sum of all terms in a sequence. It is used for finding geometric series (sum) from k=1 to k=n.There is a mistake in the example 2 of the geometric series.Above sigma instead of n it should say 8.
